J.K. Simmons Wants Ryan Reynolds To Play Omni-Man
J.K. Simmons is an incredible actor with many accolades and well-known roles to his name. But with a live-action movie reportedly in the works (via IGN), the actor does not want to reprise his character in such a movie despite being a fan favorite.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Simmons stated,
“Absolutely not. I don’t think Omni-Man should be played by a 69-year-old… I mean, the first two guys I’m thinking of are Ryan Reynolds and… I mean, you’re thinking of the buff guy… Here’s who needs to play Omni Man… Hugh Jackman.”
While fans don’t seem to like either Ryan Reynolds or Hugh Jackman (via X), they are disappointed that Simmons would not pick up his superhero mantle in live-action.
