Marvel’s The Avengers from Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics has a release date.

During their E3 press conference, Japanese publisher Square Enix showed off a brand new look at their upcoming Marvel title and provided us with details surrounding the project.

In Marvel’s The Avengers, players will be able to start of with Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Thor. The game can be played solo or through online co-op.

Online play will support up to four players with additional heroes joining the game following launch. The game’s development team has already announced that Marvel’s The Avengers will not feature micro transactions. All of the content that they will add to the game will be completely free to access.

The game will also include special benefits for players who purchase the game for the Playstation 4 that have yet to be specified.

The new Marvel-themed game is being developed by Tomb Raider team Crystal Dynamics in conjunction with Eidos Montreal.

The cast of The Avengers includes Nolan North as Tony Stark, Travis Willingham as Thor, Troy Baker as The Hulk, Laura Bailey as Black Widow, and Jeff Schine as Captain America.

Marvel’s The Avengers stars Earth’s mightiest heroes in an all-new story where the Avengers have been disassembled… and need to reassemble to, you guessed it, save the world from a big bad.

Marvel’s The Avengers is scheduled to release on May 15th, 2020 on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, an PC.
