Spider-Man is a No-Go for Xbox

With Marvel’s Avengers, console players were in for another shock. While Xbox players can indeed play the game, Spider-Man will not be a playable character for them. The friendly neighborhood superhero was a Playstation exclusive. This did send several shockwaves across the gaming arena. Many Xbox owners were visibly pissed. The developer has no plans of bringing Spider-Man to either the Xbox console or even to the PC platform. This meme was just icing on the cake. It stung real hard if you did not own a PS4.

On Your Left

Everybody was super hyped and excited for Marvel’s Avengers. the game broke many records. But there’s one more game that the fans are even more excited for. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the unofficial sequel to the last Spider-Man game. Although it is smaller than its predecessor, it will have new villains, new characters, and of course double the fun. Fans who thought no Marvel game could top the hype of Marvel’s Avengers are dead wrong. Miles Morales is coming.

The Fake Avengers

One of the most glaring criticisms Marvel’s Avengers is getting is associated with the character designs. The in-game characters look nothing like their superhero counterparts in the movies. The primary reason many people would buy this game is to get a chance to virtually wear the face of their favorite Marvel superhero. When the first gameplay trailer for the project dropped, people were quick to point out just how different and unoriginal the Avengers looked. Clearly the fans had been deceived. They were left distraught.

Kratos has found his match

If you are indeed a hardcore gamer, you would instantly know what this meme is referring to. The cult classic PS4 exclusive God of War ended with Ragnarok rearing its head. The end credits showed Kratos rushing outside his home to see a mysterious figure holding a hammer with lightning crackling around him. It was Thor. Thor had come for Kratos’ head. We never really got to see his face. Marvel’s Avengers has come to our rescue. Both the Gods are proficient at throwing their weapons. Both their weapons have the ability to return back to their owners. If only there was a way to bring Kratos to the Marvel’s Avengers Universe.

Jarvis losing his cool

The game allows for many ways in which you can complete a mission. There’s so much you could do – save prisoners, complete challenges, fight bosses, go for secondary objectives, and extend the game beyond its permissible time limit. But Jarvis constantly reminds the player to get back on track and complete the primary objective because the players tend to forget there’s a time limit. This meme is so damn on point we can’t even look away.

AI Teammates become your enemies

Another amazing feature Marvel’s Avengers has is the way it treats each playable character. There are daily and weekly challenges that are personally customized for each character. If you choose Thor, then you will be given a task of doing ranged attacks to unlock points. Black Widow is tasked with using her Widow’s Bite for a specific amount of time. But while you are doing so, the biggest challenge are the AI powered NPCs. Sometimes they would target the villains you need to complete your challenges. No matter what you do, they never stop.

Senior Citizen Discrimination

If you play as Captain America, you are given access to a variety of abilities. The one thing you will never have which the other playable characters do is the ability to break doors and create new ways. Despite being one of the most fan-favorite characters, playing as Captain America can sometimes get really frustrating.
